 The Walking Group has met 4 times since our Covid Restart. For those unaware, we meet every Thursday morning in the paved parking lot off Mansfield Drive for a 9:00 a.m. sharp start to our walk. We generally walk around the Airpark before heading east along the Riverway Path to Millard Road and then heading back to our starting point. This is a 1 hour walk.
The walk is followed by a social opportunity on the grassed area in front of the parking area. Lawn chairs are needed as all park tables have been removed. Bring your own refreshment or pick up a coffee from the nearby Bayside Cafe. In order to protect ourselves and others against Covid 19 we have a number of procedures in place as outlined in the "Walking Group Activity Restart Plan". A copy will be provided to any new participant wishing to join the group. Our numbers are down from pre-Covid times, averaging 10 people since the July 16th start-up. Absences generally occur at this time of year as folks are either away or have visitors. New participants are always welcome.
