Motorcycle Club

On both our August and September rides we had to find our way through the smoke that has plagued us this summer. The most recent ride got us as far as Campbell River, well short of the planned visit to the strange and unique Cable Cookhouse, unique because it is constructed out of logging cable. For another time, I hope. The August ride took us south to the Rocking Horse Pub, from where we enjoyed a beautiful ride in the Nanoose Bay area. That had been preceded the month before by a very enjoyable ferry voyage to Powell River, then a me- andering ride by way of the exquisite Laughing Oyster restaurant to Lund.
Many of our bikes will be shoved to the back of the garage come October, but there will be a final 2017 Pro- bus ride the first Wednesday of that month to Cathedral Grove where we should be able to stretch our legs with- out being overwhelmed by tourists.
