The Probus hiking group met at Seal Bay this past week for a beach and forest walk.
Shortly upon getting to the beach, we spied a rope swing. Three intrepid hikers took their turns on it. Unfortunately, only the picture of one of them suggested what fun was had!
After the rope swing, we carried on down the beach to Bates beach and the lovely sandbar that many people do not know about. While there, one of our observant members saw tracks in the sand and surmised they were made by a Sasquatch.....but who knows as that same member reported seconds earlier to have been almost consumed by quicksand.
After all that excitement we returned to the forest and had a lunch stop at Melda's marsh.
