Wednesday, April 25th, couldn’t have been more perfect for the launch of the 2018 kayak season: glassy calm seas, blue skies, and almost summertime warm. Once rudders were working and paddling arms had warmed up, our group of 6 kayakers enthusiastically followed our Intrepid Leader (Craig) on a round trip from near Kin Beach to the Powell River ferry dock - past sunny sand beaches, eagles and one porpoising sea lion. Lots of smiles, laughs, and the odd selfie.
