An Unbelievable Evening (Wine Appreciation)

One wine appreciation group, hosted by Ken and Shirley Hargreaves, met this week and had great fun connecting good wines with very lively storytelling. Each participating couple was asked to bring a favourite wine to share with the group, along with an entertaining anecdote about it.

Well, we’re happy to report that we have some very fine raconteurs in Probus! Stories didn’t have to be true and the more audacious of the group told some real whoppers. Truth or fiction? - All was revealed at the evening’s end with many surprises and the discovery of several excellent wines to add to our repertoires.

​It was another fabulous evening of friendship, laughter and as always, good food and wine.
