Oyster River Nature Park to Salmon Point...

11/4/2022

This week, a group of us met at the Oyster River Nature Park and after crossing the bridge, headed down the trail beside the river to get to Saratoga Beach. The tide was low so we had a lovely beach walk on the sandbars before heading back to the Oyster River Nature Park, where we went down the trail on the other side of the river. We stopped for a snack on the gravel bar close to the mouth of the river as it was sunny and warm. Then off to the shoreline trail that takes you to Salmon Point. On the way back we stopped at the same sunny spot for lunch before heading home. It was great to take advantage of the sunny weather, especially in light of the rain the next day.
