Snowshoe Fun in the Sun

Seven snowshoers under the daunting leadership of Anne Flanagan set out today (January 7) for our first outing of 2025. The temperature was 0 degrees C with a light breeze. The outing was 8.4 kms over 4 hours which included a lunch break at Battleship Lake Middle Ridge Lookout. It was a bit cloudy at first, but the sun did break out as you can see in the accompanying photos. The scenery was spectacular with views of Mount Albert Edward and beyond. Once we were finished, coffee, tea or hot chocolate was enjoyed in Raven Lodge.
