Hiking Group: Cumberland to Lilypad Lake

A small but mighty group of Probus hikers ventured into the Cumberland Community Forest on Tuesday.  We worked our way up Thirsty Beaver, where we saw the carving of the thirsty beaver.  He is still holding a can of "Thirsty Beaver" beer!  After about another half hour we reached Lilypad Lake.  After lunch at the lake, we returned by a different route which gave us some spectacular views of the strait, islands and mainland.
