Hiking Group - A Pool with a View

With summer lingering on and the temperatures remaining high at Mount Washington, we decided to change things up and have a picnic lunch and swim at Lake Helen MacKenzie. The three of us that went in all reported that the water was warm and the swimming was fine. Admittedly, the majority stayed out of the water and basked in the sun on the rocks. After the hike we had snacks at the side of the pool and another swim.
