Hikers Enjoy a Grand Time!

Hiking Group leader Anne Flanagan had to cut off numbers for Tuesday's hike, so great was the demand for the group's annual summertime Finger Glades hike and pool party on Mount Washington. With temperatures in the mid twenties on the mountain, it was the first year that almost everyone jumped right in the pool for a splashy and fun post-hike dip. Anne prepared plenty of delicious food for our after-swim lunch, supplemented by goodies from a few volunteers. Hiking through the beautiful subalpine forest, sunshine, a pool, and the world's best hamburger luncheon... It was truly a grand time!
