Beer Appreciation Evening at the Irizawas’

A lively and enjoyable Beer Appreciation Evening was held recently at the home of Henry and Judy Irizawa, where 15 Probus members gathered to explore the flavors of Germany and area—one taste at a time!

The tasting lineup featured seven different German and area beers, offering a wide range of styles and flavors. Among them was a refreshing fruit Radler and even a surprisingly good non-alcoholic beer, proving that German brewers truly have something for everyone.

Each beer had its own unique character—some crisp and light, others rich and malty—but all were remarkably tasty. One pleasant surprise was that the pricing of these imported brews was actually lower than that of many local beers, making the experience both delicious and economical.

The evening was filled with great conversation, shared laughter, and a newfound appreciation for German craftsmanship in brewing. Our thanks go out to Henry and Judy for their warm hospitality and for hosting such a delightful and memorable event. Prost!
